We work closely with the founder of the trust to understand their intentions and objectives, helping to structure the trust in a manner that aligns with the founder's wishes.

 

Once the trust is established, we can take on the role of overseeing the trust's day-to-day operations. This includes managing trust assets, such as investments, properties, or businesses, in accordance with the trust deed and the beneficiaries' best interests. We ensure that assets are prudently managed, income is distributed to beneficiaries as per the trust's terms, and all legal and tax obligations are met.

 

We also ensure that the registers with regards to beneficial owners and accountable institutions are maintained and uploaded to the Masters Office and SARS. We maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records of the trust, including transactions, distributions, and investments. We also liaison with the Trust accountant in the preparation of periodic financial statements and reports, providing beneficiaries and other relevant parties with transparent information about the trust's financial activities.

 

Finally, we can act as an independent trustee to ensure the proper execution of the trust's objectives and safeguard the beneficiaries' interests. As an independent trustee, we are responsible for making unbiased decisions, exercising due diligence, and adhering to the legal and fiduciary obligations associated with trust administration.
